From the Landlord
"People laugh at me for saying 'objects have souls.'" But when I touch objects imbued with the creator's feelings, or objects that have been used and cherished for many years, I feel as if they are speaking to me.

I close my eyes in front of such old objects. "These existed long before I was born, and were cherished and used by someone I don't know. The owner is no longer in this world."
And so I contemplate the hearts of these old objects left behind by "time."

"Showa Retro Sushi Inn" is not just a lodging facility renovated with modern architectural technology to create a nice atmosphere.

The drafty, warped doors. Everything except the flush toilet and air conditioner is from the Showa era. It certainly wouldn't be called a comfortable place to stay. But somehow, it feels nostalgic and warm. Those who remember that time will be overcome with nostalgia, while young people might find it refreshingly new. That's what Showa Retro Sushi Homestay is all about.

It's also a quiet location, perfect as a base for sightseeing in Ine Town and Amanohashidate. For dinner, I will personally prepare sushi for you at the counter.

Inaka no Kazumi and the old-fashioned items await your arrival in a world without smartphones.
